I finally got back to work after waiting around for my boss and HR to figure out how to keep me on. I’m making about a dollar less than I had been because it’d take a week to get on again as a student and it was kind of urgent because my coworker hasn’t been doing his job. Oh, he’s been shipping domestic loans, but I was the last person to do international. Two weeks ago. Because he just doesn’t do it. He won’t even send microfilm or other media through UPS — he just sets it aside and I have to do it after he leaves. And if he gets fired, then we’ll be super fucked, because the work he actually does won’t get done and we’ll be even further behind. I mean, he definitely doesn’t deserve to keep his job, but we’d have to train someone else to do UPS.
tl;dr - I hate my coworker and I want to punch him in the face.
